Something related to our childhood when there was no MacD or KFC or in general, there was no outside food. Eating out was a family affair once in a year may be and we mostly be satisfied with mandane dal bhat . Breakfast was ruti torkari on most of the days and there was hardly any variation. Once in a blue moon we get this Bengali Gola Ruti, that too, when somebody is not well or donot have appetite , then mom used to make this delicacy to feed her child. How humble those days were. To cut the story short, I made this on a Sunday morning , just for me.
I strongly believe that I should take care of myself as well as pamper myself a bit and hence made this for my breakfast. It was just for me and nobody else. Needless to say, I relished every bit of it followed by a cup of strong tea.
