Bengali Chirer polao

No, this is not the famous poha that whole India know as a breakfast item. We cook the same flat rice or chire as we call in bengal, in some ghee , whole garam masala and bayleaf with lots and lots of veggies. You may make it non veg by adding some scrambled egg at the end too. This Bengali Chirer polao is one of my fav dish as a breakfast item. This dish is quite easy and you can make it in a jiffy. I had a fussy kid at home, and he was not at all satisfied with his snacks. I serve this and see the smile in his face. During our child hood, it was quite regular to serve this pulao to the sudden guests as well.
