Chingri diye Mug Dal aka Prawn Moong Dal

This Chingri diye Mug dal or Prawn Moong Dal was made long back, as part of homecoming of my son during Puja holidays last year. Somehow I forgot to post it then. While deepcleaning my phone memories, these images popped up and thought to post it immediately.

For the vegetarian friends, please ignore this post. However, for bengali friends, we are so familiar with our Machh er matha diye dal , this dish may bring a freshness to your dal menu. Recipe is almost similar, instead of fish head, I have used some fried prawns to the cooked dal after tampering. It is yummy and can be enjoyed with plain rice.
