That day I was in a hurry, no time to do some elaborate cooking, hence used whatever ingredients were handy, mix them with chicken and then put it on gas stove on simmer. The end result was brilliant, just added some peppers to give the dish some visual appeal.
- Chicken – 500 gms
- Curd – 100 gms
- Ginger Paste – 1 tbsp
- Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- Green chilli – 4 pcs
- Cinnamon – 1 inch
- Cloves – 4-5 pcs
- Color peppers
Mix Curd, ginger-garlic paste, chilli paste and salt with chicken and keep the mixture aside for 15 minutes.
Heat oil in a kadai and add garam masalas into it. When it splutters, pour the marinated chicken pieces and stir for some 2-3 minutes. Cover with a heavy lid and let it simmer on a very low temperature.
When the chicken is almost dry, add 1 cup of hot water into it and simmer till the chicken is done and oil comes out of it. Add the chopped bell peppers and your easy chicken is ready. Easy..Isn’t it !??
